The New York Center for Advanced Parathyroid Surgery now using the Tosoh AIA-360 for IOPTH

The New York Center for Advanced Parathyroid Surgery at St. Anthony’s Community Hospital is now using the Tosoh AIA-360, the leading Parathyroid Hormone Analyzer for Rapid Intraoperative Parathyroid Hormone testing (IOPTH).  The intraoperative PTH testing is performed on most patients undergoing parathyroid surgery.  The purpose of the test is to ensure that there is a “chemical” cure to the hyperparathyroidism.
