When I first learned that I needed surgery I was very scared. I asked many doctors and friends for a recommendation and it was difficult to find someone specializing in just parathyroid surgery. When I learned about the New York Center for Advanced Parathyroid Surgery I was very happy to learn that this Center was located very close to where I live. The care I received was exceptional, I feel great, and my problem is resolved. Now I take calcium and vitamin D supplements and my osteoporosis has improved. I feel much better now.

On November 5th 2010, Dr. Gordon and staff performed parathyroid surgey on me at St. Anthony's Hospital in Warwick New York. I must say that this was one of the most pleasant experiences that I have had in a hospital setting. Everyone was gracious, friendly and professional. They left no questions to be asked. The surgery went without any pain or discomfort. The aftercare was minimal and there is no scar on my neck as of today. That's just over one month later. I would recommend the New York Center for Parathyroid Surgery to all those seeking medical care.

Very smooth Surgery. Dr. Gordon never tried to rush it out. He did wonderful job. He is always accessible for any inquiry or questions.

Dr. Gordon put me at ease, explained very clearly what he would be doing, gave me comfort that he knew exactly where the tumor was and was very responsive to my questions and calls. The anesthesiologists were great: for the first time I didn't get sick when I came out of the anesthesia. The nursing staff was also great. Dr. Gordon isn't only a talented surgeon he has a great manner.

What I like the most was the fact that whenever I called the office, my questions and concerns were addressed immediately and I never felt rushed off the phone.

I was very nervous about having surgery on my neck and at my first visit with Dr. Gordon I learned that he operates using minimally invasive techniques. Two weeks after surgery I was amazed that there was barely a scar on my neck. Prior to surgery Dr. Gordon addressed all my concerns with myself and my family. Immediately after my surgery, Dr. Gordon informed my family that everything went fine.

From the onset Dr Gordon and his staff put me at ease, explaining everything throughly which showed wonderful professionalism and extreme patient care. The medical care I received at St. Anthonys during my surgery left me feeling that I would return there for any other proceedure needed to be done.
